From practice: One PV system, two batteries, one setup
A private home near Riedenburg runs a photovoltaic system with a hybrid inverter and battery storage, plus a second battery from another manufacturer. Two systems, separate apps, no shared logic, and the inverter did not know the home’s real consumption even though a meter was already installed at the grid connection.
We programmed a custom microcontroller bridge that feeds the inverter live readings from that meter as if it were original equipment. Both batteries and the metering now run together in one central home-automation setup over the customer’s home network. An energy dashboard shows generation, consumption and storage levels at a glance, and via secure remote access we adjust rules and settings without an on-site visit. The control stays expandable: a second inverter can be added at any time without replacing what is already there.
Technical competence
Relays and contactors, sensors (moisture, level, temperature), controllers and scripts, Shelly/ESP or existing smart-home hubs, secure remote control only where desired.
